Welcome back Vikings! 

I am so excited to embark on a new journey at John R. Lewis. I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our returning families and a special greeting to those are who joining us for the first time. This year promises to be one filled with growth, learning, and more opportunities to build and strengthen our school community.

This year, we will continue to focus on not only academic excellence but also the social and emotional well-being of our students. We believe in educating the whole child, and as such, we will be using programs that promote well-being and community connections.

We also look forward to our continued partnership with you, our parents and guardians. Your involvement is key to your child’s success, and we encourage you to participate in our community events, attend parent-teacher conferences, and enjoy some of the fun activities that our school will host. 

Please mark your calendars for our open house on August 20, 2024 from 5:30-7:00pm, where you will have an opportunity to meet our staff, learn about the curriculum, and hear more about what this school year has in store. School begins on August 21, 2024, and it is a ½ day.
